Description
Reproduction print of a watercolor painting of a uterus embellished with Native Hawaiian flora (ʻOhiʻa Lehua, Kokiʻo ʻUla, and ʻIlima). Some may look at a uterus much like we look at many organs- maybe not the prettiest of things to look at, but there is true beauty in what the uterus is capable of. There is so much strength that a uterus has and so much pain women endure because of our reproductive organs. While they bring pain they also bring life.
This was painted after learning of the leaked opinion of the Supreme Court regarding Roe V Wade in 2021. Now more than ever we must support eachother and ensure every persons rights are whole. A persons reproductive organs are theirs and decisions about one’s body are that person’s decisions to make alone.
