Born from the raw, mixed emotions I felt after the birth of my twins, this piece encapsulates the complex layers of being a mother. It is a visceral expression of the complexity of womanhood and motherhood. It captures the joy and pride of creating life, alongside the anger, sadness, and rage towards the societal and systemic forces that undermine women’s reproductive rights. An exploration of the feminine, the creator, the warrior, and the raw, unspoken pain that accompanies both creation and survival.
